So amazing! The Theraphosa blondi is one of my favorite T’s of all time. It is also nice to see a video of “true” T.blondi and not another T.stirmi. Makes me happy seeing them in the wild 😊

Ik heb er een in het binnenland van Suriname gezien. Hij zat voor het huisje van de buren. Wat een joekels zijn het vooral als je Nederlandse huisspinnetjes gewend bent.

Love your videos :) Try doing the King Baboons next time since little is knows about its habits especially living underground most of the time.. I have a theory they encounter more prey underground than on the top surface. I have 3 sub-adult female specimens in my care, they never ever come out even for a drink, till i throw an earthworm in there after opening up the sealed entrance of their burrows. All 3 ate the earthworms..

Yes, an adult. The position of the bald patches on the abdomen suggest a recent egg sac also.

Are the South Suriname the largest variant of Blondi by bulk and legspan? Everyone keeps telling they the biggest.

blondi from french guyana holds the record but imo suriname has more bulk in looks but only blondi that are small is brasil 6 inch for females maybe 8 max my french guyanas seem to have more leg while my south suriname more stocky
