I watch your videos more than anything on youtube. You are the reason I pass all my difficult math classes in college. God Bless your soul.

I'm happy this isn't so bad. My single variable book is the same book for multivariable, so I'm working ahead and learning everything so that I do better in my summer multivariable class. I also have to learn Maple, which I've been looking into. Thankfully Patrick comes to the rescue, as usual, and teaches me multivariable calculus before I even start class haha.

When I pulled open this video, I laughed out loud. The problem that you did in the video is the EXACT same problem I was doing on my homework! Great video, thank you!

THANK YOU GOOD SIR. I can't believe how easy it is to forget these simple rules... Taking Calc III over the summer at accelerated pace is terrifying and you've made it much easier. :D

How is it that you have two of my exact homework problems that I was looking for help with? This problem and find domain of vector function r(t) = (t-2/t+2)i + (sint)j... I'm taking Calc III at University of Missouri- St. Louis.

+patrickJMT Do you have any recommendations that I could use so that I could do examples for all of multivariable calculus as well as linear algebra. Thanks for the videos! Will you be doing videos in higher mathematics like group theory and whatnot?
@virtuousjoffrey80227 жыл бұрын
There are several books on applications of Linear Algebra and Multivariable Calculus. I suggest you look this up on reddit or Quora, it will be more helpful.

You said you could have used l'hospital's rule, but my professor said that l'hospital's rule doesn't hold for 3d vectors. When are you allowed to do that?
@anishanagpal70048 жыл бұрын
ya even my teacher said the same
@anishanagpal70048 жыл бұрын
is there any other way to solve the question
@Sai-dj1iv6 жыл бұрын
no thats not true. you can use l'hospital rule provided that you are dealing with only one variable. In this case it was all in "T" and the lim was t->0. For example if you have a function of x and y , with the lim being (x,y)-> (0,0) then you cant use L'H becuase at that point you are dealing with more than one varaible. L'H only works for 1 variable.
