Can you do a video on solving for the zeros of an equation which have irrational values for the zero . I tried to solve for the zeros of an equation but then realized that the values were popping up as irrational numbers on the calculator. How do you solve for this by hand.

what if from the beginning, x = 4 + sqrt5 x - 4 = sqrt5 *squaring both sides we get* (x-4)^2 = 5 x^2 - 8x + 16 = 5 x^2 - 8x + 11 = 0 or x^2 - 8x + 11 = f(x)
