I baught a hobby box of upper deck black diamond back in ‘04. Hoping to pull the Crosby rc, and I actually pulled it.. but I noticed that literally every card in the box had the same exact dent in the same spot. I wrote a letter to upper deck explaining the defect and I also sent some of the cards so they could see for themselves. I definitely wasn’t expecting much from upper deck but I was hoping for something in return. About two months later a package from upper deck shows up. Inside was a really nice apology letter, but what was really awesome was that they replaced every card I sent them and also sent a few black diamond hobby packs!! Figured I’d let you guys know because it sucks getting dinged cards.

Probably a defect or recalled box that got absorbed into 5 below’s inventory. Happened to me before at Big Lot’s.

QC issues is a big problem I've found especially in the Prizm basketball. Off centering, dents and print lines or scratches. Thanks for the showcase may the card gods grace you moving forward.

At least that Newsome is in good condition. Sadly Panini doesn’t tell you before they send the boxes out, they use them in actual backyard football games. Sometimes effects the cards, but makes a great spiral.
