Finding the uks RAREST Reptile!

I need to say, the smooth snake in this video was unintentionally discovered, taken a quick snap and left alone, these are a highly protected species and shouldn’t be disturbed on purpose or handled without a licence!

Hey Paul, cool video but I have an off topic question. Where do you get the clay that you use in your Ackie monitors lay box?

It’s just sand soil mixed

@@paulsmonitorsoh I thought you said in one of your earlier videos that it was some sort of clay, my bad. I’m actually trying decomposed granite. It holds a burrow very well and my female just dug a burrow in it today. If she doesn’t lay In the next day or so I will switch to a sand soil mix.

@@paulsmonitors copy that, I have the bags ready to go. I was actually going to switch it today to a sand soil mix but when I opened the lay box I saw a perfect burrow and decided to leave it alone for now. Thanks 🙏
