Finding unexpected trails in Udaipur feat. Naveen Richard | Udaipur’s Roads Less Travelled

Naveen Richard was invited to give a talk at one of the students festivals in Udaipur. I decided to join him too & hopped on to the bus from Mumbai that took me straight to Udaipur. We rented two bikes and decided to just keep riding by picking random locations we found interesting on the map & explored some beautiful landscapes on the outskirts of this town. Excited to release 3 parts of this series in the coming days starting from Thursday. Expenses:
Bike rental - Rs 250 per bike for 12 hours
Accommodation - Rs 300(Found on GoIbibo & used their promo code to avail this place of Rs 300. However, the offer was only available for a day & the hotel charged us Rs 450 next day. The cost varies depends on the season & occupancy.

@Wandering Lloyd I'm based in Udaipur, I feel sad that my people have conned you. Those rickshaw wala just take 20-30 at very max. Also, the first restaurant where you found the food disgusting. Next time just order "sev tamatar and roti". Thats the only thing they cook well.

Most of the time, you get charged little extra than usual as a tourist. Thanks for the sev tamatar & roti recommendation. We happened to be away from the town so we only had access to these restaurants on the highway when we'd stepped out. I shall try it though next time I'm at a similar place.

There were plenty of insects around this time which you'll see in the 3rd part to answer your comment. Also, the plan was to ride on the outskirts. We encountered this part that lead to a random trail & we decided to check it out.
