Hi, I’m Krista! I make math courses to keep you from banging your head against the wall. ;)
Math class was always so frustrating for me. I’d go to a class, spend hours on homework, and three days later have an “Ah-ha!” moment about how the problems worked that could have slashed my homework time in half. I’d think, “WHY didn’t my teacher just tell me this in the first place?!”
So I started tutoring to keep other people out of the same aggravating, time-sucking cycle. Since then, I’ve recorded tons of videos and written out cheat-sheet style notes and formula sheets to help every math student-from basic middle school classes to advanced college calculus-figure out what’s going on, understand the important concepts, and pass their classes, once and for all. You are very easy to understand... Lots of people try to over-complicate concepts but you tend to paint them back and white which makes it very easy to grasp the concept you are trying to get across. :)

The best. You take approximately the same time I need to understand these concepts. Unlike Khan Academy, you do the math much much clear and to the point unlike any other. Thanks a million, ma'am, extremely appreciate everything you do.

you should use ( and ) by default. if you've already used those, and you need to wrap them in a second set of brackets, then you should use [], like this [ ( ) ] If you need three sets of brackets to define your function, then you use curly brackets, like this { [ ( ) ] }. hope that helps!! :)

*notes, the nature of the line drawn on adjacent to the line graph bar, in true genesis, would be symmetrical lineal function, not prescribed if asked by situation.Example a helix, in proportion is a helix as that would happen.This statement said as some may ask the question,"How does the line, if this is a problem by itself, know to make these statement proportions on the graph, if they are not pre-prescribed by a prothanitor.So described in self logic as genesis in design and a-genesis or non-symmetry.I got confused on this.Another term, a-proportionality.

I do know that brackets are used for this but aren't there cases when parentheses are applied? what makes those two differ? Also do you know how this can apply to solving rational inequalities?
@kristakingmath
@kristakingmath 9 жыл бұрын
when you're representing a domain or a range, brackets are used for a closed interval, which means the endpoints are included. for example [2,3] means the interval is starts at 2 and ends at 3, but that both the left and right endpoints x=2 and x=3 are included in the interval. parentheses indicated an open interval where the endpoint isn't included. so if instead you had (2,3], it would mean that x=3 is included in the interval but x=2 is not.

Silly to ask but at 2:02 can't we point out the +ve value of 2. It would not be exact 2, but it will be 2 point something i.e. 2.5 or 2.3 like that....can't it happen...

Hi its me again who couldn't find videos because of hairstyle lol, two weeks back. I have a question, is it possible to get a question in equations like f(1)=3 and f(5)= --2 and they ask for domain and range. do we have to draw a graph first to do that? please let me know as my exam is this Friday and i am really confused and can't find natural domain too. Thank you very much.
@kristakingmath
@kristakingmath 8 жыл бұрын
If that's all of the information you were given, then the whole function is simply a set that consists of only those two points. So your domain would be 1,5 and your range would be 3,-2. I hope that helps, and good luck on your exam!
