Finding winter bass in Cooper River (winter blues)

Went out to find some winter fish and absolutely struggled for the first 2 hours. From breaking rods to snapping off $20 lures. Nothing was going right! Had a talk with the wife and took the time to not get frustrated and to use my brain. Ended up having a 7 fish day by noon.
