I tried all the dice molds so you don’t have to! Last year, I reviewed all the mold makers I could find on Etsy (that sold single molds and shipped cheaply to America), and today, I’m going to share that information with you, and help you choose the mold maker that’s right for you!

Hey! I wasn’t alone in thinking that werpy dice molds don’t have deep numbers! I was super discouraged when I kept sanding the numbers super close to being gone and was super shocked at how deep my own masters made the number super deep.

Yeah. The quality of the molds is fantastic and I love the font, but they are very shallow.

Great information. I like the comparison between the different molds. I have some Druid Dice slab molds and can tell you that they have improved the keying in the last year at least for the slabs. Do you have a reason for using single dice molds or just a preference?

I like slab molds, I just like showing off single molds for beginners, because it is a LOT cheeper than a full slab. I just don’t want people to waste money if they don’t end up liking dice making.

I just went to Nanolab site - what is the difference between their regular mold and the "spin up" and also i may have just not got there yet but high face/low face ?? Thanks agagin this series is amazing!!

Regular dice have the numbers spread out to ensure fair rolling. Spindown dice have the 1 next to the 2 next to the 3 and so on. They're easier if you're just using the die to track a number (e.g. life in Magic), but they're slightly less fair when rolling. I suspect their use of spin up is the same as what I know as spin down dice.

Is there any molds with multiple D6 slots? As I'm primarily a Warhammer player now and so would love to be able to make my own dice and eventually offer my services to my hobby group ☺️ as Games Workshop charges $50-55 in Australia for 15 dice 😂

How well do the mold perform without a pressure pot? I am thinking of trying my hard at making dice but I don't have the opportunity to get a pressure pot. Have anything you could recommend?

The main difference is without a pressure pot there can be a greater chance of failures due to air bubbles in the raisin but you can look up videos on how the limit errors

Thank you for this video. Question: I have a sword dice holder mold. It doesn’t hold the current squish mold dice I have. They’re too large. I need “standard” size dice mold. Which mold that you reviewed is standard size?
