You guys!!! I have watched every one of your videos as my husband and I will soon be retiring and it’s been a lot for me to think about ! Your videos have been very helpful to me in the process of declutterring, preparing to move and downsize, etc. I have very often prayed for you to discover a deep, intimate relationship with the only living God. To see this is happening is so very beautiful!!! I have read the “Story” multiple times and now purchase it by the case to give to friends and family. Jody and Mark, this is the best and most important video you have published so far. Getting close to God and making Him part of our daily life is the most valuable thing we can do. I am glad you are meeting with others to study the Bible, now your next step is to congregate in a church. Mark said it hasn’t fit into your Sunday schedule, but it should be the other way around, your Sunday schedule should adapt to your church time. Thank you for the video and God bless you!

Thank you for delving into this topic. As I have shared before, part of my morning routine, when I walk my dog at 4 am, I can communicate with God in the dark with the moon and stars being my “church”. About an hour later I do my praying and as I pray for specific people, I text them a blessing gif. Also read a couple of devotionals. Sunday for me is Sunday School and Church. This has been a part of my life for 70+ years. My Bible is on my phone so it is always with me.

Thank you for sharing your spiritual journey with us. I was also brought up going to church and i'm so grateful for that foundation of beliefs. My personal belief is having a relationship with Jesus Christ, which is very important to me. I've learned that the Old Testament is Christ concealed and the New Testament is Christ revealed. So there are nuggets of truth, wisdom, encouragement or comfort waiting to be discovered and to bless your life with each reading of Scripture. (Jody, I like your blouse.)

Bless you for having courage to address this topic. As we age, we must face the question about the afterlife. God has put within each person/soul the need and longing to know our Creator personally. And that comes thru His Son, Jesus, who died on the cross to save us from our sins, cleanse us and empower us to live righteously. We read our Bibles and drink coffee every morning also. God’s best to you both on your journeys!

Great video and so very timely! Have you noticed how the words "sacred," "holy," and "meditation" are not to be found in any of today's social media or newspapers? Our modern lifestyle is terribly parched for inspiration and grace, both of which can only spring from a foundation of spirituality..

Thank you, Mark and Jody for talking about this topic. As you say it is personal however, you coming out and giving this information your point of view etc. means the world to many of us. My father was Pastor. I’ll always be a PK (Pastors Kid) and even though I learned or heard a lot during my years, One never stop learning from the Bible. I too belong to a study group through church and the camaraderie I have found with the ladies and through studying the Bible has fed my soul more than I can say. Again, kudos to you for bringing up this topic.

Spirituality for me is a relationship with God through faith in Jesus. God revealed Himself through the preaching of the good news of Jesus. That was 41 years ago. I repented and accepted Jesus as my Savior and Lord. I am born again. Jesus set me free from pride egoism and gave me love for my neighbor. God bless you all and give you His peace.

Important subject. The way I understand it is constant practice with nonattachment helps to navigate the never ending spiritual journey. Great video and topic. Nice that you are exploring both the depth and breadth of spirituality on your journey. Micah 6:8 is the center of my theology, but I learn about all aspects of spirituality and world religions. Joseph Campbell’s works on comparative mythology helped me understand why humans conceive of spirituality in the first place.

I do. Practicing yoga has allowed me the chance to focus inward. As a mom of 6 and a career driven person for so many years my focus was always outward. Focusing inward brought me to a place that I was ready to embrace my spiritual journey

According the bible, Jesús defeated death on a cross. If so, he is God. The faith to believe on the bible is not from ourselves, it comes from God. Ephesians 2:8-9 If you don't believe in the bible, you must read it first.
