We, a couple of weekend sailors ourselves, spent the same weekend in Sydney Harbour. We were quite cold outside of the water and couldn't imagine going for a swim or a dive, especially not without towels. And... out of all places to see sharks in Pittwater, most locals suggested Lion Island. You guys are clearly way tougher than us. Living on a boat for two years probably does that to you. Good luck with your job, Gozde is actually an architect in Canberra and is well familiar with the grind.

In truth, we were pretty silly to be swimming in low vis round lion island 🦈 ...We obviously did a very good job of hiding the fact we were scared and cold!

Been following you all for quite a while now. You have been my inspiration to make a go at living and sailing full time. But all great plans take time. I truly think your time on land will be enjoyable, but fear you will miss the freedom and enjoyment. Regardless please don't fall into the work work work life. Keep living as if there is no tomorrow and enjoy each moment life offers you

I think I found a new Covid binge. This episode caught my eye as my wife and I love Australia and Sydney. We're also sailors in the Puget Sound area. I am a plumbing project designer for a Consulting firm with branches in Australia I plan to visit. Beautiful weekend anchorage!

Hey guys, loved seeing you back in Pittwater, where I learnt to sail in late 2018. I'm a liveaboard on Lostura in Turkey, with my schoolmate who taught me how to sail, Frederick Mancer. (you've chatted with him a few times). I'm happy to see you're both safe and well and look forward to your new adventures around Pittwater :)

.... Yes priorities in life ..... who creates your priorities or do you yourself ..... way back in the early days there was a conversation of when you first met up snowboarding and went on to Jackson wanting to sail around the world but no for some time and as the conversation continued it was decided to do it now and the search for a boat commenced .. think that is the first time I saw your priorities change .... must say I have enjoyed watching your journey through life so far .... weekenders is a good way to keep the lust alive while building the kitty .... thx for sharing .... never stop dreaming, just dream bigger .... have fun be safe, save our oceans .....

The thing about you two, something comes up, that I find remarkable. Of course Jackson is an architect. When I think back about the data collection on the colour , time and general performance, ie, catch rate and number of fish caught, of his fishing lures, and his chart derived from said data, well, it's now obvious... And since you have both been living in Avalon, well, now that you know what really maters, Said architecturally drawn house plans including bush water feature, will be an absolutely Bobby Dazzler of a house... Mrs Xanthe, can be the best option in boat sales convincing the reluctant women how sailing is so easy to learn, with advice on all issues associated with such a change of life for them... Happy wife, happy captain... see, that was easy...
