I’m glad I found this song when I did, (probably only because it seems to have gotten really popular, which is kinda odd? It’s not new or anything, I don’t think) because I was genuinely not feeling great at the specific time and hearing this song honestly made me feel a lot better. I think this song isn’t supposed to be completely optimistic, because there’s some lyrics in there that point more towards, “everything is not always fine but let’s not worry about it” and I kind of love that?? Not everything is going to be fine always, but worrying constantly is not gonna help in many situations. Obviously, in extreme issues the song mentions, like bombs and terrorist attacks, you obviously should be worried, but that’s just Lemon Demon for you, and I take it more in the metaphorical context of anxiety and irrational fears and stuff. That’s probably not the message at all, but that’s my personal takeaway from it, and I feel like that takeaway has generally helped me as a person, even just a minuscule bit.

This song reminds me of when I was at my lowest time , not mentally but physically. The doctors just found out I had POTS that was triggered by a unknown sickness. They never discovered what it was.. the hospital thought it was mono but it came back wrong in the blood test and I was in so much pain, my throat hurt so much I couldn’t even talk nor drink. I was in the hospital. But i remember around January this song was trending and it just made me so happy. I remember everyone on tiktok loved it too that’s where I found it.
