Paul💈💈 Nicely done. Sunshine in the bathroom, wonderful, thanks Mrs H. Superb soap the TOBS Herbal, have used for some time, fragrant and slick. Shaved yesterday, nothing fancy but really enjoyable..used Wilkinson Sword shave stick, RazoRock synth brush, Rockwell 6C razor #3 w/Personna Red blade, alum, witch hazel, Floid Black splash and AV 5 in 1 balm...Super. Great video and chat, shave looked smooth. Enjoy!

Good morning Paul, wonderful flowers by Mrs H 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻My grandma lived in the south of Germany and down there they used to have tobacco and sunflowers fields. Today they mostly gone and they growing potatoes for the fast food companies. My sotd will be, razor Gillette Tech, brush a boar brush, Arko soap, Reuzel aftershave and some diy creme. Fun fact. That bracelet is designed to set next to you watch. The gap lets the bracelet set flush with your wristband. Watch face sets in the gap. I appreciate your vids. My wife and I appreciate Mrs. h flowers. It has made her interested in the videos. Beautiful flowers and peaceful music is what we need. Love the garden videos. Makes me think of Hyacintch and Richard “having a putter” in the garden. Keeping up appearances. My favorite British sitcom.

Good evening Paul! The return of the Sunflowers; thank you Mrs. H!! I looked over the Fine Accoutrements razors while in a shave shop in New York City. I think I rather prefer Fine's Worlds Finest Safety Razor, sort of Muhle R41-ish in base plate. Union Pacific Rail Road ran their massive steam locomotive into Kansas this week. In honor of the Big Boy 4014, I chose shaving products from the 1940's and 1950's. SOTD: 1958 Gillette Flair Tip Super Speed razor loaded with a 1951 Gillette Thin (carbon) blade (1st use). 1946 Shulton Old Spice shaving soap lathered with a That Darn Rob 26 mm BOSS synthetic brush. Finished with Thayer's AF SF skin toner and 1957 Shulton Old Spice aftershave. Those old carbon blades feel plucky, yet cut through the whiskers no problem. BBS result. Fantastic post shave face feel. Out the door to meet-up with the Big Boy smelling like a man. Thanks for sharing Paul. I like your jokes; they put a smile on my face. Take care please!

Hi Paul, greetings from Texas! My shave: Mr Fine Lavender soap and Lavender after shave. Rex Ambassador for 3 passes and pickups; 5,5,3,3. Treet Teflon blade, 2nd use. I messed up when I bought these. Should have purchased stainless. 2 shaves and done. Osma alum block. Thayers witch hazel. Duke Cannon menthol post shave balm. Awesome shave!

I had that Marvel razor, and gave it a good try (maybe 20 shaves) but was constantly nicking myself regardless of the blade or soap. Gave it away; for some reason I couldn't get along with it. Shame as I liked the handle but sometimes we try things and they work and become part of the stable and sometimes, not so much! Cheers and take care.

Hey Paul. The Scent of that soap is stunning. For me performance is medium. Not really that slick. BUT, the hard puck of the Platinum is much better. Great scent. Maybe little to soft. But the performance, especially the Slickness, is a lot better! The blade is smooth and very good performing. And the best, it lasts some shaves!

Hi Paul well shiver me timbers I bought the same soap and bowl last week I love the tobs sandalwood shaving cream so I had to buy this, and I bought brut EDT smells very close to the original faberge brut, now on to Tobs Sandalwood aftershave love it but just out of interest when it gets just to the skin scent base notes don't you think it smells like imperial leather? On my skin it does and I get the same from the tobs sandalwood cream just the thoughts of an idiot from Llangollen well anyway take care and have great weekend 😁

A few years ago I toured Elvis’s Graceland estate. Since it had been something like 35 years since his passing I was expecting to see a mostly geriatric crowd of visitors. Was I ever wrong. I would have to say the average age of the visitors that day were in their mid-30’s, with many only in their 20’s. By the way, I should mention during the tour one rather tactless individual asked if we could see the upstairs toilet where Elvis supposedly took his last breath. Not surprisingly the answer was NO! And before you even ask, that was not me!

My SOTD will be the Blackland Blackbird SS with a Bolzano blade, Semogue Owners Club Boar Brush with a Cherry Wood Handle, Declaration Grooming Shore soap and aftershave, with some Nivea Men’s cooling lotion to finish the shave. Bit of a random question. I'm going on holiday shortly and want to minimise the amount of stuff in my wash bag. Usually I take an electric razor, but find them a poor shaver and always end of with bits that I've missed. I was thinking of taking some Pears soap with me, and using it to shave with (as well as washing with it) and just lathering the soap up on face and working into a lather with my hands, so that I don't need to take a brush. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with shaving with Pears soap. I'm not planning on doing a super long shave with it, just a quick two pass and out the hotel door kind of shave. Thanks.

I haven’t used Pears specifically, but I have used other glycerin type soaps with excellent results. I rub the bar on my face and then use my hands or brush to lather it up. I use a glycerin type preshave soap for head shaves on a daily basis.

Eucalyptus is wood though. I really struggle with which scents go with what! I often try to purchase soap, after shave and balm of the same scent. Not very creative, I know.
