Hi Garry great video as always, couldn’t adjust cut the items out you want rather than that millennia of work you have to do and then just put the background back in a different background that looks the same. I wouldn’t have the patience for that because that’s taken hours but it does look nice in the end.
@GaryGough7 ай бұрын
The answer is yes, it would have been much easier and quicker 😁😁 The only issue with that is, it wouldn’t be the original work. It would be like the swapping sky featuring Photoshop. I totally understand what you mean though 😁

Interesting video - I know that spot and that boat well but never thought of clearing out the background clutter in post like you did - nice. The high tides there can vary by a metre or so depending on the time of the month - looks like you picked a super high one 😅. Love the bench shot.

Monumentally inspiring video. The amount of post edit is amazing but very nicely done. Regarding the flooding tide I have found similar discrepancies in the timing and now I add at least an hour before the predicted timing of the tide (i.e. arrive an hour earlier). The old boat is beautiful. I'm off to the Lake District tomorrow (meeting up with Mali 😀)and this has given me some ideas. Thanks.

Only been to Pin Mill once myself, and sadly the tide was out. Didn't have to time to wait as we were moving on to further up the coast. I see you had the same problem in that the mud there just sucks your wellies in and it becomes difficult to extricate oneself

Interesting images, but too much about software as opposed to the skill of the photographer. I'm not knocking it, but I'm much more driven to what I can capture in camera rather than leaning on software. Each to their own, and each approach has its merits.

@MarcoToninelli-rl8im7 ай бұрын

@GaryGough7 ай бұрын
That’s fair enough, but… Fine art landscape photography is a form of artistic interpretation. It’s about seeing the landscape not just as it is, but as a canvas for personal expression. Photographers use their unique perspectives to compose images that convey mood, atmosphere, and a sense of place.
