Fine Dining in Pakistan with Kurt Caz 🇵🇰

It was last night in Karachi, so me and Kurt decided to treat ourselves to a nice meal. We actually found a different fine dining restaurant first - we went in, asked if we could film, they said yes, but as we were ordering they changed their minds and didn't want the free promo, so we went across the road to Chef's Table and the guys were super friendly, and the food, staff and experience was awesome.
This was both mine and ‪@KurtCaz‬'s first time doing fine dining, and certainly both of our first times trying a 10 course menu. It's not something I'd do often, I'm happy with a pizza, but it was cool to try this without being totally ripped off like in most countries. Shout out Chef's Table's staff for being awesome and the owner for coming to say hello.
We had a week in Karachi, eating street food, going around hectic markets, going to Karachi's craziest beach, meeting some really friendly Pakistani people and overall having a really good time in a country that has a bad reputation due to the media. Hopefully me and Kurt Caz have helped to change that even a tiny bit to show you that Pakistani people are friendly.

I have been to this EXACT restaurant in Pakistan in 2018 and they were very gracious and sincerely polite to us. We were also served like Kurt and Mulvey were so I would say it's tradition to be served in that manner. The guys aren't being overly dramatic in describing the foods and the flavors because the food was absolutely spot on delicious. I still vividly remember the hosts hospitality and kindness taking time to describe to 2 Americans the foods we were about to consume. The best thing on afterwards was there was no gas,diarrhea,or stomach cramps that usually comes with eating spices. After all of this craziness with Corona virus has settled and I feel comfortable traveling abroad again I will definitely go back and pay them a visit. Wonderful restaurant with very hospitable and kind hosts.

@@MonkeySpecs301 yes, expensive is subjective. To the average Westerner, it's cheap, but for how badly paid the majority of Pakistani workers are, it'd be extremely expensive.

@@MonkeySpecs301yes 2900rs is expensive for poor people, but it's extremely cheap compared to regular restaurants or KFC McDonald's etc. for example a curry at another good (not overly posh) restaurant is around 1000rs, not including sides, so a 10 course tasting menu is maybe at most twice the price of a meal elsewhere. Or 5x times the price of a McDonald's coffee. In UK or USA the difference in price between a chain or a fast food place is huge and would instantly put one off. Hope it makes sense

I’m glad to see Mulvey & Kurt get to experience the beautiful cuisine’s of Karachi 🇵🇰 I live in America but whenever I visit Karachi I treat myself with the most phenomenal restaurants like Kolachi in “Ocean Mall” (rooftop) also there’s another branch in Clifton (Seaview) Student Biryani restaurant is best Biryani in whole Pakistan - Boat Basin is a food street (mouth watering food EVERYWHERE) Sajjad is another good restaurant in (Seaview) Kabobjees Restaurant Do Darya and many more. . . . Party of 2 or 3, anywhere from 8,000 to 12,000 PKR only $40 to $60 dollars exclusive fine dining type of food we won’t even find in America 😊

Are you sure you are from Pakistan? Only going by your comment that for locals its impossible to eat there, in my experience this statement can not be further from the truth unless you mean for poor locals, otherwise mostly Pakistani people have far too much disposable income and very serious buying power that can put most westerners shame. Speaking of poor locals such poverty exist in the west too where people can only dream of eating out to such places.

My ethnicity is Pakistani and I know Pakistan very well…if you are seriously saying Pakistan is more wealthy than America/Europe you need to get your head checked…..yes, Pakistan has a minority of wealthy people but the poverty rate of Pakistan is almost 70 percent, look at ANY street in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and you will find not only beggars, but children begging…it is. It an insult, it is a reality….less than 50 percent of the country even knows how to read, let alone have A job…you are the reason why so much is wrong with Pakistan..instead of fixing your problems you try to compete with world powers as if Pakistan isn’t one of the poorest countries in the world..the Pakistani passport is one of the weakest as well and your rupee isn’t worth the paper it’s written on….fix your country, instead of sounding and looking like a fool in front of goras because you are ashamed of yourself

My favorite thing about this video is watching Kurt turn from a pale green white skin tone arms crossed with a frown, to rosy pink cheeks and his signature smile. I'm glad you guys found this place to eat at and recover from all the street food. Might got yourselves a stomach parasite from the water or something. Wormwood tincture really helps with that kinda stuff. Can order some through mountain rose herb company. Look forward to the next adventure, glad you guys shared this fine dining experience. We had a similar experience in Turkey. Was feeling peckish, went into this local restaurant which was empty. By the time we finished, the place was packed, and we must have had about 10 dishes. We only ordered mains, but they kept bringing us food. They were so happy westerners went into their 'locals' place, they wanted to show us their amazing food. I think it cost us about £12 each, but the food was absolutely incredible!!
