Nice collection I agree with you in investing in fine jewelry. I've been collecting solid silver and gold jewelry for three years now and I don't regret the money I've spent because I still have every piece. I do suggest buying a lockable jewelry box so noone can steal you're jewelry ✨️.

Thailand is good too-and cheaper I think, but only purchase from well known bigger shops in malls. That's what I do so I know I'm getting the real deal. And always research the shop before buying :D

Tip : malabar is in a well known indian jewellery , u can exchange for different pieces after a while , secondly as the price of gold the value of the jewellery goes up in cash . (22 carat will give u more)

@@WilondaPrevilon yes you can pick out something different for the same value , generally they make take some amount of it due to the making charge ( the charge will depend on how detailed work is done in the jewellery ) so the lesser details lesser making charge . the other options is for you to take something a bit more pricy and u return one on your pieces or all of them and they will deduct it of your final bill , so you pay less.Value of item will depend on the gold rate on that particular day . They also tend to do gold purchase scheme in which you deposit some money every month and they add to it and after let’s say 12 months . You have a lump sum with which u can buy gold . Many Indians do this ( investment purposes) as gold prices go up as years go buy .

Generally people wait at least a minimum of a year or 2 . So you can enjoy your gold . Some hold on to it for a long period of time ( if it is 22k gold) before exchanging. Remember on thing diamond only exchange for diamond. Gold only exchange for gold . If you exchange gold for diamond , you will be losing out ( whn you want to swap it again) they will be profiting . You may want to avoid gems stones ( as they are not good items to return) the weight of the gem stone will be deducted from gold, on top of any making charges. (So you will spending more , however the return value will be lesser) .If your buying gold pieces you know how much it weighs( grams) , that way you can know how much your gold will be valued in the market

I'd like to add that figuring out the monetary value of your jewelry pieces is usually calculated as a mathematical formula based on the purity of the gold (how many karats) and the weight (how many troy ounces). The current price of gold is approximately $2,000 per troy ounce of 24k gold in the U.S. If I had a 14k gold bangle that weighed 0.5 troy ounce (for simple math), I would calculate the general valuation of my bangle by dividing 14/24, and then multiplying that figure by $1,000 (based on multiplying 0.5 troy ounces by the gold valuation of $2,000). Thus, the value of this hypothetical bangle would be a little over $583. Also to add, most jewelers don't care about the diamonds or gemstones in the jewelry, just the gold so that they can melt it down and resell it or make more jewelry.

@@WilondaPrevilon Yes it was so odd . I almost gave up commenting and subscribing but 3rd time it worked . I adore your collection. I am such a fan of yellow gold especially the 18kt ones from Italy or Turkey. I think am going to invest in pair of dainty diamond studs now and maybe a pendant. I was never big on diamonds. But I think one in my collection is a great idea. My sis bought me pendant from Dubai just 2 months ago. Love it so much. It's a cherub medallion although I wanted an Eiffel Tower 😅🥰

Uggghh 🙄 You See How YT Be Playing Me. Well, I'm Glad You Didn't Give Up! Honestly, I Wasn't A Jewelry Person As Well. It Wasn't Until About 3 Years Ago I Started Investing In My Collection. I Was Plain Jane Or A Couple Of Statement Fashion Earrings. But, Diamonds Really Do Elevate Your Style. Not The Big Chuncky Rappers Ones, But These Dainty Ones. You Honestly Don't Have To Buy Many Or Have Many On To Feel Like You're Making A Statement.
