I just can't believe that if it was applied to a walls in an open to above entry foyer facing south east when the sun is shining that the high gloss would not bring out all the walls defects even if a veneer plaster of a level 5 drywall finish.

question for you. i would like to use fine paints of europe on a new exterior door. i have not ordered the door yet. what is the best material to order for a door if i want to use this paint?

Any solid wood door should be fine. Make sure to lightly sand the unfinished door before application

Can I use fine paints of Europe in old paint?

Yes. Just make sure the old paint has been prepared properly, i.e. sanded and cleaned.
