A good trick I learned (Andy's Hobby Headquarters) was to use staples as track pins, you just have to straighten them, they're also a little thicker than the wire so they stay in the track links better, and if you leave one end of the staple in the 'L' shape you can use it as a little handle to push it in, then you just have to clip it off afterwards.

Agreed! I've used staples a lot and like that no glue is needed. Thanks too Andy Hobby HQ too!.

Excellent workmanship and video. I know a lot of people prefer metal tracks. Me personally just use whatever comes with the kit. I don't build to many military models.

A trick I've found is to put a slight V bend in the wire. Once it's inserted the bend provides enough friction so the wire won't fall out, but the tracks will still articulate.

Timely for me as I picked up a kit at a show that came with Fruilmodel tracks. Only question is why not put the wire in the links then snip it off the coil? No need to measure that way. Is there a downside to this?

You can try it that way. In our experience, it's easier to maneuver the smaller lengths rather than having to deal with coil.

Another grest video, from the 'how to do things' guys, one thing with metal tracks is they give some nice weight to a built kit, also I am certain I heard the Fruil have gone out of business, can you confirm this? Best regards from Australia 👌👍👌👍👌👍

Please advise me on what airbrush kit I can use for precision modeling that comes with everything including compressor, dual action and reliability without going over $80 , Is this Possible,? Thankyou.JeffT.
