FINGERBOARD GRAPHIC TUTORIAL. Day 244.

Hi Guys...
So here it is :) quite a few of you guys have been asking how i put my graphics on my boards... well hope you like this tutorial? Please Subscribe, Comment and Thumbs Up the video if you like it :) If some of you use my way of doing it, please post some video responses with your results... would be cool to see what you make :D

Glad you all like it :) it's not very hard at all as you can see, drilling the holes are quite simple too, specially if you got access to an upright drill, I just use a normal electric drill so it's alittle more tricky to get it perfect everytime! My Canon needed charging so I used my iPhone instead! :)

Well I just think that it sits better with paper and glue but I know that using a sticker also works fine :) wonder why I got a dislike? Properly some troll who didn't think of this himself HeHe!! :)

you can use any program :) Paint, Gimp, or draw something on paper by hand, it´s all up to you :)

If you don´t clearcoat it, the paper will be worn off very fast, but give it between 3-5 layers of clearcoat, very thin and it should last you quite long :)

@NXTfreak528 i sure you can :) just make sure that it is ok to use on wood.. and give it VERY thin layers.. you might not even see the first 2 layers get shiny but thats ok.. you must NOT soak the deck in clearcoat.. give it 2-4 thin layers, with 20-30 minutes in between, then let it dry completely... about 12 hours... then lightly sand it to clear away any dents or bubbles with very fine sandpaper, clean it and then give it 2-3 more coats and let it dry and then your done.. :)

try painting a clear paint glaze over the top of the paper to keep the paper toghether and prezerve it

@Concretfighter i got some veneers but it will be much cheaper for you to buy it from eBay as there might be some based closer to you, they will also have different colors of dyed veneer :)

I can't make finger boards myself but I buy plain ones that are complete but no graphics on it and I just use them to add my own custom graphics

i had a sims skate board(real skateboard) and when the graphic started to wear off i noticed the graphic was a layer of paper! just thought it was cool ..Ur awesome iZily!

i use clear coat.. it´s from a spraycan.. make sure it´s for wood! its a vanish

@erik fingerboard Yes, you can but sometimes tge thickness of the old graphic might kind of push the paper off and take over the glue.

I found that putting packaging tape over the graphic makes it look better and last longer.

no i can´t... what many don´t seem to understand it that i am using a MacBookPro, i have just connected it to an external screen and use Apple Bluetooth mouse and keyboard with it.. i am not using a pc. sorry

I did the same thing, with super mans upper-body graphic from a newspaper and I just put 4 layers of packaging tape on the graphic to protect the graphic

I think you have to put some tape, large tape i think, so the board graphic does not scratch, and the graphic will be more durable..
