Thanks for the excellent tutorial on knitting the fingers. I've looked at many videos--your instructions are the best! Your pace is just right. I will be using your method of increases rather than casting on extra stitches for each finger -- much cleaner finish!

John CrawfordThanks.... I've been working on some beautiful plaited cable gloves to go with the scarf that's been quite popular on my channel. Look out for them and let me know what you think? (Will be uploading them in the near future).

To help make the cuff snug around the wrist and to improve the look of the flaps at the crown. When using the same needle size, I have found that a k1, p1 rib can look over sized when you later go on to work in stockinette stitch.

Nina Allen - Lots of Love Gloves are being made as gifts for men which is really nice. I have seen some great looking results from knitters using this video to create their first pair of fingerless gloves. Definitely give them a try. Good luck!

You could try following along with the free written instructions from my website? I do hope you give it another go, as I have seen some lovely results from fellow knitters.

These are not for beginners for blokes like me. If you start the glove from scratch forming the wrist from the beginning of the video beginners like me would get a better understanding.

anthony butto Good point. I have always wanted to do a total beginners guide to these gloves. This knitting pattern is worth the effort to master, as underneath all the hearts is a classic glove with a sound fit. Will add this total beginners guide to my to do list!
