I like this one. Your nails look very nice in that size, shape and color. I’ve been watching videos for over a year. Then I bought products in August 2019. I finally gave myself relief for ingrown nail on my left big toe using your products! Every pedicure I got only did short term relief but with the remover and tools I finally got all the dead skin. It’s been pain free now for a month. I’ve slept better and walk without pain. I love the hooked tool I bought!

I'm a student and I do gel enhancements and I'm taught to do things completely dry, not even cuticle remover because it adds moisture and possibly oils to the nail plate. I am being trained to use the efile for prep but my problem is people with extremely thick dry cuticles and not creating heat from working on an area that's really bad. I make sure to keep the bit moving and will even move to another finger and then come back but I end up leaving more there than I would like because I don't want to do damage or hurt them.

I also wear gloves when I do dishes and such and my hands and nails are so much healthier now

I feel like I've been living under a rock, I've been wishing you did nail videos! No clue you did them, thank you 😍 I have been trying to find a way to stop my nails from chipping after I do them. I usually use sensationails gel polish with a a uv light at home and within a day or two they will all just chip or even peel off. I use a primer and a top coat too, not sure what I should change?
@saratakashima81774 жыл бұрын
Randi Johnson the same here. Whenever I just move my hands or fingers the nails seem to 'dissolve' even after having applied nail hardener. Sometimes it feels as if they did that especially after having applied hardener by the way. I usually wear gloves while cleaning and washing my hair, but that seems to be only marginally helpful. Hopefully there will be better advice for us in the future. Best wishes Sara

Just curious why you don't remove acrylic instead of growing out. Thinking has to do with nail health.
@Mimito54 жыл бұрын
Karon Hammond removing the acrylic leaves terribly weak nails. Letting them grow out helps to preserve the nail. As they grow out, you only remove the nail that has been damaged by the acrylics. BTW, my birth name is Karen Hammon. 🤗
@kimilatto75094 жыл бұрын
Celeste D i tbink that correctly applied acrylic shouldnt damage the natural nail plate especially when correctly removed! Sometimes after removing any enhancements nails feel weak and soft because they have been retaining moisture underneath the acrylic,it actually means they are super hydrated and after a day or two they harden again.Keeping your acrylic on for too long can actually damage your nails as the overgrown product puts pressure on the nail and the lifting of the product can make ur nails break and year
@MimiNwabuokuMD4 жыл бұрын
Kimi Latto You make sense! I had likened the acrylic/dip overlay to the protective extensions I add to my hair while it grows out. When I keep my hair under crochet braids and faux locs, it retains length steadily; because it isn’t exposed to the elements, the hair retains its moisture and breakage is kept to the barest minimum. I was delighted to see that my natural tips were almost half an inch longer after having dip nails for just above eight weeks. Two days after taking off the dip overlay, my nails are looking really nice and no longer soggy.

I'm glad I came across this video. I do my own nails and it takes me soooo long. I'm very obsessive about getting rid of every little bit of dry skin/cuticle. But I see that I don't really have to do that. The cuticle oil helps to cover up those little "pieces". Plus my nails are not uniform in their shape so trying to file them to look similar also takes forever. I used to bite my nails as a kid and teenager, so I think that has caused my nails to become misshapened. Thanks for the info.

If I could just get the acrylic to stop lifting though, that'd be great , lol.
