Back in the water, congratulations. At least you made good use of your "dry time" with the paint job on the hull. She looks so good, it's kind of a shame to put her in the water where you can't see the great job you did painting her. Florida Keys looks nice - great dancing location at the stern especially at sunrise or sunset, even if you don't get rocket launches or cruise ships. You're getting very professional with the production - twin cameras down below. Very impressive. Although there did seem to be one production "blip". Karen talked about getting naked after painting, yet the two cameras didn't seem to capture the moment. Oh well, as a wise man once said "you can't always get what you want"😂

It was a very busy and very hot time, Michael! We did get a lot done, but of course, there's always more to do. It is easier to set up cameras when we're on the hard, glad you noticed the new technique. Hmmm, painting naked, well...you can't always show everything on KZbin. 😄

Today we have a 17 mostly cloudy and very cold day in SE Michigan. About 35 degrees, it is recommended to stay where you are and do not ever get bored. .Tell Steve he needs to chase you around the galley table with his speedo on. @@sailingintermission

how much is that paint, how much did you use, how long does it last ???

The prices of bottom paint and how long they last vary quite a bit. We used almost four gallons (per coat) and it was about $300-$350 a gallon. The marina waived the haul out fees since we bought it there. We probably could have found it for a little less elsewhere; the savings on the haul out fees made it a very good deal. Hopefully it will last about two years. We check it regularly and have Isabella's bottom scraped frequently.

@@jesvans We are currently in Florida. Although beautiful and full of wonder things, salt water is a very rough environment.

@@jesvans Prices of course vary by marina. For this particular marina it was around $850.00 and then there are blocking fees for putting the boat on stands. So when your boat is pulled, you try to get as much done as possible, more bang for the buck.
