This is hard to watch, but all the more powerful in its effect. What makes this story so sad (& hard to bear for those of us who are expecting entertainment) is that it is close to reality for so many. The ones who are responsible for others suffering are allowed to get away with it. If nothing else, this should make us reflect on our own choices - who do we want to be like in our real lives: the hard hearted family or outcast yet moral young man?

This the second version I have seen. The main thing I like about the other version is while the boyfriend was talking to her at the gravesite, he said he hoped that she was able to meet his parents( he buried her next to his parents), as he was leaving she came in spirit told him that she met his parents on the other side, live a good life and they’re all waiting to meet him again to be together in the next life. I thought that was so cute 😭.

I actually think it's the opposite. The ML loved the FL so much and honored her wishes to be buried next to her grandfather. He even went as far as to show the world her last words, so that they could see her for how she truly is and not some villain that her sister made her out to be. The justice is that her mother and stepfather got a divorce as well as the mother living with guilt and regret.

Got the sorrowful part not sure where the passionate part was. I felt more sorry for the "punk" who was a total stranger to her than her mother who chose to believe her younger daughter over the daughter she abandoned with her father in the countryside. Definitely wanted this to be a reborn drama I would have loved for the young couple to meet five years later when he is more than the thug they claim him to be. The acting, casting and production was good but this was a heartbreaker. 😢💔
