Finish Faithful Episode 24 Ezekiel and the Covenants

Ephesians 2:11-22. Notice we Gentiles who have come to Messiah were "strangers to the covenants of promise", but are no more strangers and are built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets. Think about that in light of the material in this episode. Ezekiel could not foresee the Body of Christ, but Paul expects us to know the foundation of the prophets. Knowing the Old Testament is not just "extra credit" for the Church. Jesus had explained to the apostles how OT prophecy applied to him. The NT writers had that deep within them and the Church needs to understand their thinking by understanding the prophecies.
