REUPLOADED... The last video got a copyright claim for using my own track....😱

Working for 30-60 min each day can be very beneficial. You actually know that you don’t have much time, so you go straight to it. Also, keeping the mind and ears fresh, makes it easier to come up with ideas or to figure out what’s wrong or lacking in a track

Your comment about fitting in 15 to 20 mins of music production a day even if you are feeling to tired from work and not having time to work on music really made sense as I have been using this as an excuse for a while now. I will set aside time every day if it helps the process ! - Great stuff , I am glad I have found your channel!!! :D

Came across your track Slow Deep Hot & Wet and wanted to know more about your production techniques. Had no clue you had all of these very helpful videos. Keep these coming and keep up with the proper tunes.

It´s true about the loops, we don´t want to destroy that piece, because that it is, a loop in that moment haha, we have to implement it with the rest of the track. Many thanks! ;)

Great video. I always get stuck AFTER the arrangement. The track is ready but then I am not convinced with the samples. 😬
@dilbydj3 жыл бұрын
My advicee would be to just get in and finish it as soon as possible. Every track you finish teaches you more about the production process as a whole. Everytime you make a loop and abandon it you learn nothing about arrangement, mixing ot finalising a track and you reinforce the habit of starting and quitting and starting something new. Remember, a finished track is a track, no matter how good or bad it is. A loop is nothing, it's irrelevant how good it is until it's finished.
@HM-dl2gh3 жыл бұрын
@@dilbydj That’s definitely true. A bad record is better than no one. Probably there can be get more out of it with a good mixing and mastering. 😎
@dilbydj3 жыл бұрын
@@HM-dl2gh yes and no. Well executed mixing and mastering can definitely enhance a good track. But, there are plenty of amazing tracks that have been huge that were not mixed and mastered well. I never really hear any say "I can't stop listening to this song. The idea is boring, but omg, the mastering is incredible". 😂 And that's the basis for what I'm talking about in this video. I make shit tracks, everyone does. You gotta get those shit tracks out of the system to clear a path for the good ones to follow. 😉

I’ve recently started playing with hardware (tr8s, monologue, ju06a) so it’s really difficult to think about approaching an arrangement. I can get a nice loop going, and then mess with the synths whilst it’s rolling, but I have no idea how to think about an actual arrangement.
