I have the same pain in the hand I hold the yarn in. I started crocheting more this spring, then my hand hurt so badly I couldn't even turn the doorknob. I had to stop crocheting for a while. I bought an ADJUSTABLE THUMB STABILIZER at Rite Aid. It is their brand. I wore it to bed overnight. I did improve. When I feel the pain starting up again, I slow down on crocheting and wear the stabilizer to bed overnight.

Traci I am having the same problem and it is not my hook hand and it is called carpel tunnel which requires surgery to release it and it goes numb,pins and needles and also pain which wakes me at night

Loving your blankets for Boggy Creek. Please see a doctor with what is going on with your hand that has pain as you don’t want it to develop into something more where you are unable to crochet anymore. Don’t forget to take frequent breaks and exercise your muscles-we don’t realize our posture or time spent crocheting contributes to problems!!
