Front Discharge mixer in Georgia. We got 12,000 yards at a school and 27,000 ft of curb at a rec facility on hold because of all the rain. Haven’t gotten more than 20 hours on a paycheck so far this year

Hi Moe, I love ur videos. So annoying when you gotta wait on the contractors to set up. Drivers for my company we always ask the truck ahead if their pouring yet😅. Especially, for them pump jobs. Always thirsty they are😅. If the truck in front of me ain't pouring yet. Gotta throw 40-50 gallons in a full load😅. Get that slump up a cpl inches so it'll b jus right when it's time to pour.

The question is where are you going to get loaded and get product from? Where is your washout at the end of the day? Most companies own/lease all their own rigs and employ people to drive them.

@Keith Fler here in Texas a guy is able to sign on to multiple companies and they call him when short handed which because of work load n driver shortage is all the time. I hear they pay 200 to 300 per load and more at night of course to deliver to thr customers....

Our plant puts the calcium in with the rest of the load and our drivers put the correct fibers in just before getting loaded or just before washing down after getting loaded. Do your rear dumpers have 6 wheel drive? We only have front discharge mixers and they are all 6 wheel drive. Most of ours are 6 axle but we have a few 5 axle mixers and all have the ability to lock in true 6 wheel drive but we still get stuck from time to time. If there is another truck on the job we pull each other out but if not we have them sign so they know they are paying the wrecker bill witch is usally about $500.00. Hi Moe, I seached your videos and didn't see one comparing the pros and cons of driving/operating a front end vs rear end discharge. Did I miss it? I wanted to get your point of view. I am a relatively new driver of a front end discharge ready mix truck. There are like 5 other local companies that run rear discharge. Which is better as a driver? I guess companies prefer rear truck because they are cheaper and easier to repair I hear? Thank you.
