Mama T knew you were super duper busy the last 2 weeks. I know how long these music videos take and you work so hard at it. I absolutely loved your version. Maybe Blink 182 will want to buy it from you. I love the added touches, like the short clips from hot sister/girlfriend. I also liked how you added footage of the band. Put together just perfectly. Well done my boy. Definitely a song that can get stuck in your head.

Wow. I felt so nostalgic watching this video. Tom DeLonge was the reason I started playing the guitar as a young teenager. And that band has been a part of my life ever since and a huge inspiration for my own songwriting. Thank you Stevie for this beautiful tribute :) You really nailed it! I hope this video makes its way to Mark, Tom and Travis.

Funny thing is lots of us are the same. People write them off much too easily and don’t give them credit. Their music is deceptively easy, but even Stevie here cannot go beyond generic with their own song they were working on. Stevie you’re still a god, okay, and I know you rushed this thing.
@troublingleaf
@troublingleaf 4 ай бұрын
@CreepyCat easy and simple are two very different things, anybody can lear blink songs, but people always miss a lot of what they actually do, their harmonies were amazing, and their melodies were always catchy as procreation, obviously I dont even need to mention their drums, they wrote very easy songs, but they were not simple. They made it big because they understood their music, not because they knew how to play it.

Blink should take this and record it with Stevie. Make all of the music sang and played by Tom, Mark, and Travis and have Stevie on lead guitar for his solos and lead parts. Writing credits go to Stevie and the rest of the band. This collaboration would be amazing! 🤘🎸

I watched this 10 minutes after Steve uploaded it. The song was so catchy (and because he programmed the drums), I immediately started working on re-creating it with live drums. I then did the bass and vocals, too, as well as background vocals... I can't touch his guitar playing, so I left that to him. I hope Steve is able to hear it sometime.

Steve finally did his ''How to be Blink 182'' song. The how to be this or that band video are always so much fun. And the videos definitely always seem like a lot of work to create with the different green screen filming, etc. It definitely sounds like a Blink 182 song. These are my favorite. 😊 I had a little bit of a pop punk phase when I was a teen, but probably not as much as you (I was mostly into old school/classic punk from the 70s and 80s). I could tell you were a huge blink-182 fan just by how much you talk about them and pop punk, and I definitely hear a lot of influence from them in some of your other music. I love the way you completed this song and the music video you made with it is great! Hot Sis is on cracky magoo pants for turning down Black Metal Steve!! 😭 And even more for turning down nude Steve.. Can't get any better than that! 😂 But I especially love the added touch of your own unique guitar playing in this song. I can always tell your playing apart from anyone else's because it has that one and only Stevie sound and feel to it that I know and love. 😊💖 It was also nice to see some old footage of you from back in the day! Blink-182 always somehow had this way of making me emotional, and this only says about you, how good song writer you are that you were able from this snippet make something so nice! Hot Sis didn't look too happy seeing you, um, yeah, natural 🤣I thought she loved you regardless of anything. Even in corpse paint! Also, small Stevie was cute 😁 BTW, in 2003, I was 10/11 years old. Holy sh... this time flies 😵! That BHALALALALALA made me laugh so much! 😂 Also, seeing how many ideas you have for songs, man, YOU ARE SO FREAKING TALENTED!!!! Awesome! The result was impressive. It does have that Blink vibe. It made me wanna compose and record music again.

Steve makes it look easy, but that shows someone who knows what they are doing. Practice practice practice. The guys from blink will love it I'm sure.

Really fits as a tribute song and video as the throwback moments made us remember the good ol days of Blink-182.

I gave up on commenting "XX videos since the My Chemical Romance video with no song" because I kept losing count. That song is never coming out
