I despise hand sanding. I go up to 600 on the belt grinder, hit it with the Scotch Brite belt and call it good. Nice, working satin finish. Suggestion, do your hand sanding prior to epoxying the scales. That way you won't have that unpolished strip at the back end of the blade.

I really like how it turned out at the end! I never tried making such a layer epoxy material by myself. I think I really need to fetch later. Does it also work with cloth? 7:05 looks like glas! I call it perfect😃
