Might be a dumb question, but wouldn;t you get a better test if the nuts we're tightened to the factory sequence? Just wondering! You guys do amazing work otherwise!

It’s just mounting to our pressure tester fixture. All it needs to do is seal against the gasket so we can check for cracks and pin holes in the casting.

Phil is my favorite. Nice work on the 136. I'm T1D as well and it's a pain in the ass. Have you considered the Dexcom CGM? Personally I love mine.

Thank you! It's a crap shoot a lot of the time, but after 19 years I've got a decent system down. I've tried the various CGMs but for some reason they seem to fall off after a couple days. Probably because I'm long and skinny lol.

You can see bubbles come up on that last set of valve he poured water in. It's the back left one from where the camera is. Hopefully I'm wrong but I just wanted to mention that I seen bubbles. 👍 Keep up the good work guys

Yeah, that was bubbling like crazy. Hopefully it was just a shot for the camera and they re-did it... probably not though. The perils of being distracted by cameras.

When you were pressure testing the heads I saw a leak out of the last bank of valves. 7:34

unprofessional testing. you should tighten head down as it was supposed to be on the engine. Great video, You guys would never touch my engine!

Lol. It just has to seal against the gasket so we can check for cracks an pin holes in the casting. No need for high torque or special sequence. Next step after pressure testing is resurfacing in the CNC machine.
