If you don't have access to sea pickles for your pumpkin patch, you can also use spruce buttons on top to make it look like the stems have dried a bit. I usually mix in spruce buttons and sea pickles when making custom patches, but the buttons are way more accessible early-game.

33:24 You could leave most of the top alone, and carve a small descending alcove with stalactites and stalagmites reminiscent of the Carlsbad caverns. And then maybe partially obscure the entrance with tall grasses and vines. You can keep it mostly dark if you want by using brown mushrooms or glow lichen to keep mobs from spawning, but without making it too bright.

Unsure if you would be opposed to switching "keep inventory upon death" on or not, as everyone has their own play-styles! Suggestion and Q&A: Edit: 43:48 it appears you've read my mind lol For your tree next episode, you could put a Weeping Willow in the middle of your pond (and if drowned start spawning you can put a few axolotls to deal with them, they'll be in no danger don't worry) Also, nature's compass is a great QOL mod that helps with finding biomes Q1: Are there any mods or modpacks that enjoy playing? For example: Ars Nouveau or RLCraft Q2 What's your favorite thing to do in Minecraft other than building? Q3 what's one thing you like to do to make the monotonous stuff less boring? Since you asked, Mosquitoes actually are important in their environments! They're a family of flies, and like many flies, have just a ridiculous amount of eggs (a given female may lay up to 200 eggs in her lifetime). When they eventually hatch into larva, they become food sources for many different animals, including predatory aquatic insects, fish, and frogs (with some animals specializing in hunting mosquito larva!). In their adulthoods, they'll also become prey for predatory flying insects, spiders, and birds. As adults, they also are mostly focused on pollination, with females only drinking blood when they're preparing to lay more eggs, and males not drinking blood at all. There are over 3,500 species of mosquito, and less than 100 of them are actually confirmed vectors of disease (although, there are about 200 that are not confirmed but suspected vectors). Meaning less than 10% of mosquito species are suspected or established vectors of diseases that affect humans.

Can't really defend them on the biting thing tho, that'll never not suck.

For your walls. If you occasionally put in a stair, slab or a wall instead of a full block, you're able to play a bit more in terms of depth, and not just shading. Makes the retaining walls look like they have been there a while and shown signs of wear as well as slowly becoming overgrown with moss. (If you take this tip to heart you can name the spooky skeleton after me)

You helped me find new creativity in minecraft and you have helped me feel not-so-alone. I got some medical issues going on and I am in my room quite a bit because of it. You're a chill guy who is easy to listen to and you have earned my patronage. For the block I could be named after, could it be the Ender Dragon Egg? If not maybe an enchanted Diamond sword, because if you need glasses like me it kinda loos like the Air Force emblem upside down, I've just never been able to get one in my worlds so I'm hoping I can at least be one in yours! Anyways sorry for the rant, thank you for everything that you do and the joy that you spread, keep rocking!!

15:28 mosquitoes are an integral part of the food web, without which many obligate and facultative insectivores would struggle to survive. Also, mosquitoes only take blood meals (bite you) if theyre a reproducing female; otherwise, they’re important pollinators that help keep biodiversity up. We may not like them, but without mosquitoes our ecosystem would probably look a lot different! Sincerely, your friendly neighborhood entomologist :) P.S. you’re videos are such a wonderful corner of the internet, so glad I found your channel!

Walls are too smooth and flat in my opinion. Maybe some areas where the wall rises slightly above the dirt or dips slightly below the dirt? Maybe a section or two where the wall has been rebuilt or reinforced with a different looking brick and/or footers. Maybe the occasional light post attached to the wall. Maybe a water feature coming out of or over the wall. Maybe a few holes using stairs and slabs, or even a section of the wall where it's collapsed. Just throwing out some ideas.
