Hey Melissa, thanks so much for sharing your process, esp hydration and color mixing. I'm into colored pencils at the moment, so the blending technique is a bit different, but this helped me think more about it. And I LOVE sunflowers! Bright blessings.

When you do portraits, I love seeing how the painting just pops immediately after you do the outline with the liner brush. Great job and video as always!

How do you chose the color of your portraits????

I hate having to do two layers too! The paint gets thinned with water when using the stay wet palettes, but they are so convenient 😩
