I’ve been looking forward to seeing the completion of this puzzle; the image is so striking! Thank you for sharing your build video. I’ve done a bunch of 1,000 piece puzzles but will need to work my way up toward doing something this epic!

You are very welcome! I’m so pleased it’s done - I absolutely loved it, and you are right, it really is striking - so many lovely animals and colours 😃 working your way up is a great idea, you can pretty much stair step from 1k, to 2k, 3, 4, 5 and then 6k 😊 Thank you so much for watching 😍

When I was doing a 5K Educa puzzle, I also had an issue with moving sections and loose fit altogether (in large due to the many "bump"/"groove" pieces). So my solution was to laminate A4/A3 printer paper- more sturdier than single sheets of paper and I was able to easily slide sections into place. Since then, I always keep them around while puzzling.
@Vickymakesandbuilds2 жыл бұрын
Laminating them is a great idea! Paper is good to use, but not really rigid enough. I never would have thought to laminate them 😃

First of all...what a beautiful, beautiful puzzle! Animals is my main theme of puzzling along with Disney. And this one seems so amazing! 👏 Second...huge kudos to you for dealing with an Educa puzzle that big. And as I understand, you made another one as well, bigger. Double kudos!!! I, unfortunately, had a really bad experience with the brand. I've only made two puzzles of them and, even though they have amazing images and I had many more on my buying list, I decided to not buy another Educa puzzle. The pieces are literally falling apart and I was no able to move even two single pieces and remain stick together. So frustrating... 😥 And last...if you allow me a small correction, the cat on the couch is a cheetah, not a leopard 🙈 Kudos again and happy puzzling!
@Vickymakesandbuilds Жыл бұрын
Yes, unfortunately Educas are just soo bad for having a loose fit, and it can get very frustrating - I understand your misgivings about doing another. It’s something I just put up with because I love the images so much - this one, and my giant Wildlife one are so beautiful! Thanks for the correction! I never have been able to tell the difference 😊

@@Vickymakesandbuilds I really wish I had the same patience...and I am generally a VERY patient person. I must really fall in love with the image to buy another Educa puzzle... I have seen all the parts of the Wildlife ! Waiting for the next one ! Truly amazing ! Again, huge kudos !

It's huge! I knew it would be huge but I just couldn't really figure out the size until the full assembly. It's so vibrant. I love the colors and the shades of green all over. The big cat on the branch is still my favorite but I also like the giraffe. So majestic! Good job on the puzzling, as always ❤️!!

I know what you mean! I don’t know why but for some reason I’m always surprised by just how large 6k puzzles come out. Perhaps it’s because I keep doing them after larger puzzles, so I expect them to be smaller than they are! 😆 I’m with you, the colours are stunning and that leopard is just gorgeous. Congratulations on finishing the puzzle! :-) It looks beautiful. Great video, BTW. I really enjoyed watching both the 1st and 2nd part. My husband bought me last year a 9000-piece puzzle by Educa, "The Garden of Earthly Delights." That's an absolute nightmare to put together... The pieces are a little bit blurred too (probably because that's a real painting). Also, the cut seems to be quite different than in your 6 thousand... I was surprised. 90% of pieces in my Educa puzzle are standard 2 ins and 2 outs. There are also such funny shaped pieces like you showed. I must say that normally I would not buy that 9 thousand piece puzzle. I like colourful images, you know, and vibrant. I'm doing it just because it was a gift and it will probably be on my wall one day. When I finished the first half, it really looked impressive. Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing your next videos :-)
@Vickymakesandbuilds2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! 😍 I’m so glad you enjoyed the series on this puzzle - I’m so happy with it, I really enjoyed every moment 😃 I think my 33k Educa has a high percentage of the standard pieces too. When I was looking at the bags, I didn’t see many of the other types. It also has the funny shaped pieces, but not in the same combination as this one. I hope the lack of variety in piece shapes doesn’t pose a problem for that one, but I must say, Educa images do tend to look impressive once they are done, whatever the pieces are like. This one is stunning 😊 I hope your “Garden of Earthly Delights” is less nightmarish moving forward, and that it looks amazing on your wall 😍 thank you for watching x

But I could not find dedicated videos with beginner tip and tricks. like the diferent ways to sort the pieces, and when to do which metod etc. I am sure there is many who will find them a great help.

I don’t really think too much about how I go about the puzzles, I just sort of do them and make it up as I go along, but there are definitely tricks and tips that I have learnt along the way that I’d be happy to share. I’ll look into it - watch this space 😃 thanks for watching the video too - I’m so glad you liked it 😍

Hiya! It is, I think this has become a favourite, it’s so lovely! It took me around 60 hours to build 😃 do you mean when will I start my next consecutive puzzle or when will I start the Educa 33k? Well, in answer to both questions, I just did my Colour in owl puzzle again. Not sure what I’ll do next, probably a 1000 piece one 😍 the 33k will probably be end of June/beginning of July now 😊 thank you for watching!

A wonderful surprise to see you again! I am aware you are super-busy with moving and all its busy consequences, LOL! Super- enjoyed your video! Changing boards is my burden, so I was happy to hear you will be getting a table in your new place to fit a 6000-pc. Because puzzles are all different in size regardless if it is the same piece count, how do you know the table dimensiones of a 6000-pc?
@Vickymakesandbuilds2 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thank you 😃 - yes, it’s been a bit hectic, but I was determined to get this video out since I was close to finishing the puzzle when I found out I was moving! 😍 The next few videos will have to be smaller ones I think, until everything settles down again 😆. In regards to the large puzzles, I won’t be getting a bigger table, but a piece of wooden board - probably MDF or something. I need it to sit on my table, be light enough to move, but not so light that it can be easily knocked or slide off. A lot of the 6k puzzles I have done/will do, are Clementoni’s. They are actually marginally bigger than this Educa so I will follow the Clementoni dimensions from the box, plus a couple of centimetres on each side. I think that ought to cover most 6k piece puzzles whatever their size. It also means I can build 3k, 5k, 4k or other large puzzles on it, and also sections of larger puzzles like the 9k Ravensburgers or the 33k Educa! Aside from being less of a faff moving smaller boards around, it will also mean I can film some of the larger puzzles so viewers can see the whole thing coming together, rather than just smaller sections. I think it will look better in a video that way 😍
