Already from a few comments I see I forgot a couple things!! 1. The rat will return next week in the story (I put him in a safe place so I didn't lose him in all the chaos) 2. The punch is a "Fiskars" brand punch and the item code on the bottom is "2131". I got it at a garage sale so I have no idea how old it is but hopefully that info helps you look it up if you are wanting to find one. Thanks for all the kind comments! I will make sure to read and comment on them as I can!

Great Job! I enjoyed this series very much. A quick tip I learned when working at a fabric store on fake fur. Cut the webbing with short sharp scissors on the underside only and the integrity of the fur will not be destroyed or cut shorter than the rest of the piece.

This is SO amazing!!! Watching your videos really makes me want to set aside my painting and go back to making minis. It is so much fun. I've never made a scene as big as this, mine have all been much smaller, but now I want to do a big project like this. Oh... I love your leaf punch, mine is a cheap single leaf punch that does the job..... just slowly haha. I use magazine pages of foliage or trees, grass or whatever and I use a small ball tool on fun foam, I never thought of using paper towel. Your shoe signature is a great idea, mine is a ladybug, but my grandaughter and I call them Nanabugs haha and they get glued to the bottom of everything. They are made from punched paper circles colored like a ladybug. Can't wait to see you work on your next project. 🤗

Thank you so much! I did fix it but I added the "E" in a different color to make it look like another vandal came back to fix his spelling. It may be difficult to see in this video but I will make sure to show it well in next weeks video ;)

@@BentleyHouseMinis i like that idea of a diff color to make it look like a correction from someone else.

Did you use a real stick or artificial for the sprigs?
@BentleyHouseMinis5 жыл бұрын
It is from an artificial plant bought at a craft store ;)

Instead of the occupancy number you can do the food inspection thing

Just fyi why didn't you just dye it with Rit color dye, would have been easier,then go in with brown mix for variation and shadows ? Still turned out good 👍😄

That would probably work really well but I didn't have any so I used what I had available. Also I know I can clean up acrylic paint really easily. Thank you so much!

I just tried the links for Heather and Tanya’s channels and they are both not available. I was hoping to check out their work. ☹️

Tip for cutting fur like this DON"T use scissors. flip it over and use a exact'o knife. it helps with the sheading and keeps the hairs from being uneven at the edges

I know this is an old video, but you could've added 'first dollar' in a frame. most family owned places do that.

Oh good one! If I ever go back to it I will have to remember that :)

Advice on working with faux fur-- cut it from the back side with a utility knife
