Here it is, the final video in this series. The knife turned out quite well. There were many challenges to overcome, but was all worth the learning experience. Thanks a ton for watching!

that really has come out brilliantly, looks great and some really useful tips in there as well as usual so again thanks, and as before would love to see you build something ancient with wrought involved in the construction but happy to watch whatever you choose to do

Thank you, Andy! I’ll definitely be taking that challenge. Just gotta get my hands on some wrought.

That came out really nice. You mentioned another idea. What do you think about a lower layer feather build. Really enjoy your channel. Very informative. Thanks

Thank you! 😁 you know, I’ve been wanting to do a feather pattern Damascus, so I’ll add this to the list. I appreciate the suggestion.

I took breaks in my hand sanding to watch this (yes, ironic!). Glad you got the bolsters cleaned up and you ended up with a great looking knife. I'm curious about why you put the handle on it before you etched; you may have said, but I missed it.

Hahaha. thanks, Bryson. So, typically I do attach the handle after the edge, and next time I’ll surely do that in this situation. I was kinda worried about breaking the handle or loosening the fit while removing it from the tang. I don’t think it would’ve been an issue.

Looks great man! What did you use for a resist on the wood? Clear nail polish? How do you get that off after the coffee without ruining the blade etch?

Hey Mark. So yeah, I used clear nail polish. I should’ve etched then attached the handle, but for some reason I didn’t on this blade. To remove the clear nail polish, I just used acetone. It’s cleans off the nail polish pretty easily, and doesn’t touch the etch.
