The bird you saw @ 4:05 (after the Turkey Buzzard, is a Kingfisher. I am so glad to see another video of yours, Jessica! They always bring me such peace, and you always bring a smile to my face (thank you)! The music is so beautiful, as usual. I just love Antonin Dvorak's Symphony #9, "From The New World." It is (in my humble opinion) one of the most serenely beautiful pieces of music ever written! Thank you for using it so appropriately, here! I'm glad you made your connective trails, to complete The Florida Trail--congratulations to the both of you! Well done! Take care, and stay happy and healthy! 😊❤

I binge watched this whole series just to see how you guy's reacted to the bradwell bay section, I couldn't believe y'all were actually able to laugh. I already new you were tough but your boy friend is a heck of a guy. All the way through bradwell bay I was praying for you two to make it out before dark. I have section hiked the AT and Roosevelt SP and very little of the FT because of the water and snakes. My hiking partner hiked bradwell bay and said it is the hardest hike he ever did. The ecofina creek section was fantastic until hurricane Micheal came through, a lot of my favorite trails have been taken over by under brush because there are no trees left to shade them out. I wish I had been keeping up with you, I live a couple of miles from the west end of bradwell and a mile from porter lake (weirdo's ain't unusual there ) and would have loved to been able to meet both of you and set you up for how ever long you wanted to rest. I admire how tough you two are but they would have to give me full access to fort knox to entice me to walk through the bay. The section south of the bay is usually a great section y'all just hit it at the wrong time. Good luck and God Bless.

@@HomemadeWanderlust (My Story of how I found you) A few years ago my (70 something year old) cousin hiked the Appalachian trail.. I had never heard of it.. so I looked it up and found you. I watched your various videos for a few months.. and in one of your PCT videos you had to go home for your Brother’s graduation.. When I saw the stage I thought “OMG that looks familiar!! Wait a minute! That’s Mr. Brown!!” I graduated back in 1983.. my class was the first to use the “remodeled” stadium.. so.. small world, right?! At some point after that I decided I was a little interested in hiking.. so I mentioned it to my nephew.. he likes to camp and go kayaking.. so he says to me “I went to school with a girl who is big into hiking.” I said “Is her name Jessica?” Lol, talk about 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon! (I don’t know Kevin Bacon but my nephew’s name is Aaron Hollinger.) Thanks for all the awesome videos!

Well done. The wildlife of the Florida trail rules again. Pack rules, for me at least. Twice in recent years, I won't take on a pack that won't fit at least a small canister like a BV450. And synthetic fill means more space. In the 1970's, before the Asian down market flooded the world with cheaper down, there was huge consumer pressure to improve weight, packability, and resilience of polyester fill insulation. And industry made huge gains. We could stand another wave of innovation much like tent sheeting with Cuben fiber.

the music at about 12.30 in was used for a famous advert in the UK for a particular make of bread. I now cant get the thought of bread out of my head on hearing it here! - look it up, it is for 'Hovis' bread and has a child pushing a bike up a hill in Northern England.
