There is a reason customers ask you back, over and over: the quality of work you provide. It's looking awesome, Chris. Thanks for sharing with us all. I've noticed that since you got your haul truck, you've been able to take on much larger jobs. It's good for your business, and great fun for us to watch.

The building lots are nice and the borderline rear road just inside the trees is a beautiful little drive. It looks as though your are deep in the woods but you're really not. That is a very pretty and peaceful area back there.

Amazing amount of work done in a week or two. Little jobs scattered around but when you really look at it, very productive time. Clearing those roads through the woods with no room to work are a pain, but if you bid it right and don't lose money it is just work and does not really matter. Gitter Done.

Chris love your videos they are just great to have on in the background while working… Sorry if this has been asked before, but when you clear out these trees and basically put them in a burn pile, is there no firewoood company that would come in for the logs or a landscaping materials company to mulch and sell it? My state is more difficult to burn, and the materials are likely more valuable to sell. Is this simply not viable in your area or too small for a company to come recover the wood for profit? TIA

If anyone wants to make a hickory cane, this is the best time of year to cut the tree down, split the log into quarters, and bend the hoop. Be sure to not let the wood dry out before you bend it.

People might think you’re abusing that haul truck by loading it so full, but I don’t think they realized what it was made for. They’re made to run 24/7 in whatever conditions, this is a good retirement for Barney.
@asarand
@asarand Жыл бұрын
First, those trucks were designed for jobs like hauling ore out of strip mines. I'm pretty sure that a truck load of ore is considerably heavier than what he is carrying. Second, on most of the jobs those trucks do they are traveling a considerable distance with a full load. He is not traveling very far at all with the loads that he is carrying. With these two things in consideration, I don't think anyone should be considering the truck overloaded at any time.

Those who think that need to watch DP and see how he loads his Bubba Dump. I've seen it where you could not see any of the truck except the front tires with trees hanging over all sides and dragging the ground behind while Matt drives two fields away to dump in a ditch somewhere. Had to look like a big green turtle from the air. Half the time he does not cut the stumps off or cut the trees up. Just pile them on there hanging over the cab and sticking out sixteen foot behind the bed. Chris is easy on Barney.
