I am so inspired by your music Fin, you have no idea man. I have been listening to you since Biscuits for Breakfast through Perfect Darkness and I'm so proud of you bro. Wicked talent, musical swag genius. Thank you for blessing me with your music. I have been writing my own music the last five years and most of my inspiration comes from you. Just hope you read this and know I'm the biggest fan. God bless you

To cesnakov....probably hasn't bothered to take the tape off since being onstage....relies on it for damping feedback and maximising use of internal acoustic pickup....

can someone explain why is the sound hole covered with tape?
@bobloblaw963910 жыл бұрын
Its best for his style of playing since it is more rhythmic. notice that even when he is playing open strings, it still sounds dampened. putting tape over the hole muffles the sounds making it sound much more soft and mellow; which makes the bass notes resonate more than the mids and highs. if he didn't have it taped up the guitar would sound way too loud. that's my best guess anyway. I just think its funny that he has a martin guitar (some of which can cost more than $10,000) and he just slaps tape on it to dampen the sound lol.

Fink's a wonderful artist. Not his best performance here, he look's distracted - prob all those people walking past him up the stares and risking knocking his guitar.
