CFA can become CEO in the financial institutions. But most of the CFA become CIO (chief investment officer) rather than CFO Where CAs are predominantly there.

Having cleared CFA Level I and a CFA Level II Candidate and having acquired skills like Financial Modelling, PowerBI, these aren't so easy I would say. I've been applying for jobs mostly on LinkedIn and not many people are considering shortlisting as well tests, GD, PI toh dur ki baat hain.

The points made in the video do seem sensible but I find this comparison preposterous. It’s like comparing apples and oranges. Going by your own words, a CFA is a certification in Financial Markets. If you want to work in say asset management, there is no way an MBA can give you the same value as a CFA. CFA is very specific in nature and focusses on financial markets. It isn’t meant as a replacement to an MBA in any way. An MBA, as you said again, gives you insight on managing business activities. An MBA can never give you the specialised knowledge that a CFA does and neither could a CFA teach you about the nuances of management like an MBA does. A CFA or an MBA depends entirely on the career path one choses to follow. If you wish to make a career in, say, investment analysis or portfolio management, a CFA is far more important than an MBA while an MBA would be better for a career in investment banking and corporate finance. The two just can’t be compared like this.

Good statistics, but I have been reading a lot about CFA and on an average more than 250,000 takes CFA level 1 in every attempt. Though you are right about fee structure

Official figures - For December 2019 - 73,688 people gave it Next we had only one attempt 2021 feb attempt ( which had students of may 2020,aug 2020, nov 2020) official stats have not been released but I think it would be around 1.3 lakh

most of the best CEO's do not have amasters degree, oit of the top 50, 26 don't have it. CEO = MBA Absolutely not, definitely helps you understand management holistically, but doesn't mean you can't be a ceo without Mba

Bro cfa lv2 students wont be the only ones who cleared level 1 there are going to be other aspirants who cleared level 1 earlier or maybe took a break for level 2 hence you can't just take 18000 out of the 45000

at the same time there will be many students who clear level 1, and do not give level2 , or plan to delay level 2. so here the law of averages take place, and considering that the people who cleared level 1 a few years ago were lower than people who clear level 1 right now, according to the law of averages only, 18000 is a higher estimate.

Let me make it clear - MBA from IIM A, B, C, L, K, I, FMS, XLRI, SP jain, MDI, IIFT > CFA> Tier 2-3 mba colleges. Pass rate of CFA around- 40% Call from these colleges - 98-99+Percentile (1%). Do check the work timings of investment banking don't just go by salary numbers. if it suits your lifestyle and you are willing to work 12 -14 hours everyday.. then only join this career path. Just be willing to work like hell but the good thing is you will be well compensated.

Please go for the mba. Don't worry about the fees. If you get admission in top tier AAA rated mba colleges banks will give you loans upto 40lakh rupees without collateral. These CFA, FRM etc are really amazing programs but at the end of the day these are distance learning courses. A good MBA from a top college will beat any of these qualifications with an iron hand. Try to get a good mba from top 30 colleges and then add the CFA to your career after mba. You will see wonders.

See it’s a very good question, depends on the fintech thing you have in your mind. If it is related to risk managemnent - frm If not risk management, then cfa will give you a good boost, mba would teach you many concepts including marketing a bit of accounting, HRM - so that would be a good blend and give you chance to network, thus if you can learn all these on your own, amazing don’t do mba, otherwise giving 2 years for mba after some work ex would not be a bad choice

I am from science background studying in 12th std as of now I am very passionate about finance (stock market) what should I do after 12th , should I continue with science i.e (bsc.it) or should I go for management courses like BBA.. and last option is that prepare for CFA...cause I am unable to Do full courses like CA cause I am from science backgrounds and it will be very hard for me to start with commerce...

My son had done 12 science with 94%....now after done bsc 1st year... he's not much interested in science & want to do bba & will do CFA in future....I'm worried abt his future..he is like you interested in finance

@@aryans9676 don't worry because after graduation i.e in bsc , do masters in management that is mba or prepare for CFA because at the end masters degree matters not bachelors.... I have seen many engineers doing mba after engineering
