Please don’t pick up the whole mushroom as you go mushroom picking! 😱 instead cut it from the ”leg” with a knife and leave the roots to the ground, that way you’ll ensure they’ll grow in that same place the next year too and not disappear ♥️ Kiitos! 🇫🇮

Mycelium is spread cross the forest floor. You can take the whole mushroom, but it is important to cover the ground with moss to prevent mycelium from drying out.
