i understand everything u said you actually made sense..but i want to ask you a question. 1. currently some vocational schools are opened for applications for a training to become a nurse, a cook, a baker, a welder , housekeeping and cleaning,more vocational schools are opening next year, 2025. if there were no shortages in those areas they inviting student for training would they have opened for admission. 2. the school fees you mentioned for international student as a barrier is true...but i dont think it affected those in vocational schools because school fees is free.....VOCATIONAL SCHOOLS ARE JUST THE BEST AND CHEAPEST WAY OF RELOCATING ABROAD..BUT MANY PEOPLE DONT KNOW ABOUT THIS
@TabiEmilia3 ай бұрын
Thanks for your contribution 👍 My analysis on fees is for universities, not vocational schools. Shortage in the workforce doesn't mean you can be employed as a nurse with no Finnish proficiency. There is a difference between no jobs at all and a challenge in getting a job.

@@mirjamndaimehafoasilevi1280 check STEP programme from university if you are talking about teaching qualification. You can also check Haaga Helia or Hamk professional teacher education.

Please ma can you recommend a site or a channel were I can study the finish language, because I will be coming to Finland by next year by Gods grace when I secure a study place.. Secondly are there job opportunities for students or nursing students in other cities apart from Helsinki?

Think am well and with what she said that is the absolute truth. But getting a school in Helsinki in terms of nursing is what I would advise because of internship.
@TabiEmilia3 ай бұрын
Getting jobs outside Helsinki is difficult but not impossible. You can use duolingo to study Finnish for a start

I need to ask you about visa approval rate. You know some countries will still deny uou even with your complete documents. I need to find out about visa approval rate especially with a company family
@TabiEmilia3 ай бұрын
I don't think the rejection is country-based. They process applications individually.

Sometimes it's not all about practicing in your field that matters. What matters is getting a job that can sustain you and make some savings and return home to invest. Even in Nigeria, it's just a few graduates that end up practicing what they studied in higher institutions. For instance, there are so many engineers in Nigeria that have turned to bankers due to lack of opportunities in their field.
@TabiEmilia3 ай бұрын
If that is your main goal of travelling, then good. However, the video is more for students who want to study, stay, and work in their field.
@ejikemeonuoha32723 ай бұрын
@@TabiEmilia I understand your point perfectly well. But if after studying and the opportunity to practice in their field in Finland becomes elusive, my advice for them is to pick up the available job that can sustain them instead waiting to work in their field because they are immigrants and they need to work in order to validate their immigration status. Thank you.
