Was so excited to see Finland part 2 posted today! Loved the acoustics in the church! Rock-paper-scissors was a hoot (poor Matt - Julianne must have mind reading abilities). The hats looked great - an especially stylish choice for Her Majesty Queen Katie of Finland. Julianne and Ellen getting up a "the crack of noon" - did you know, in Finland, they have ‘National Sleepy Head Day’, where the last person in a family to wake up is thrown into a lake or the sea by the rest of the family (yeah, look it up - its for real!). Fortunately for you both you were urgently needed for sound checks. 😊 Thanks again for posting. Looking forward to the next installment.

Older places of worship were often designed for acoustical purposes rather than aesthetics. Byzantine churches have exceptional sound quality and carrying properties because of the many arches in the ceiling design.

This installment is a value added bonus for me. As always, the playfulness and interactions of you all together are wonderful. In addition, you provided me a chance to see a little bit of Finland - I learned only two years ago that my paternal grandparents came to the US from Finland and that I am over half Finnish. I hope someday to visit there , but seeing The Petersens live in Branson is ahead of that goal on my list. :)

My Granddad Was in the navy before WW2. I would ask him about the war and he just wanted to talk about the great time he had in the navy before the war. @@PetersenVlogs A little late in responding, just watched the video for the first time, but this part about mixed saunas is only partly true. Some Finns go to mixed saunas nude, but I would say most don't. I, for example, have never been to a mixed sauna. If there is a sauna, guys and girls usually go separately (but we do go nude to the sauna, that part is true nearly always).
