Finland Resident permit Applications. Documents needed

I would like to share my personal experience and request you to include in one of your videos, for the benefit of students. My son got admitted to one of the universities in Finland and we prepared application online. The offer of admission stated that studies begin on a particular date. The online application also asked for studies begin date. We entered the date given in the offer of admission and attached it as a proof. Unfortunately, the residence permit was granted from the same date, where as the student should land in Finland at least a day before, to begin studies on the specified date. So the applicant who is filling up Enter Finland should see that he enters study begin date at least one week before the date specified in offer of admission. ENTER Finland SOFTWARE DOESN'T CONSIDER THE APPLICANT'S TRAVEL TIME REQUIREMENTS BEFORE THE STUDY BEGIN DATE. Person generating the application MUST be careful to include travel time requirements.

They always ask you to write the date you want your residence permit to start . If this is not a mistake from your side then they made mistake. My studies started 10/01/2022 and I wrote on the form that I want my permit to start 01/01/2022 and that’s when it started.

It is mentioned, to visit the embassy after you submitted your application. can you please tell me, when? I mean, they will send me an email and give me an exact date to visit, or i should go to the embassy directly after the submission of my application?

If you submitted the application on Enterfinland then book appointment with any VFS close to you for identification after that you will be given an interview date if necessary.

Is it really difficult in getting appointment with VFS global and finish embassy in Nigeria? Because I don't want to have the same experience that I had with getting Poland study VISA.

I would like to know if the process of applying for a Finnish study visa includes verification and legalization of documents, just like applying for Belgian and Austrian visas. Also, since Finland has extended the duration of residence permits for students. Do I have to show proof of funds covering the whole 3yrs of study or just the first year, which is 6,720euros?

I didn’t legalise any document during my own time . Yes, you just need the 6720 euros proof of funds.

Mam while filling the residence permit form I responded on one question YES but i had to respond NO there and uploaded the hosting agreement there also. If i would respond NO there then no documents was needed to upload but i did this mistake what should i do now i have submitted already

@@Mizchinny_ Am still to Apply for the resident permit and I still do not know the steps and procedure to follow directly till I get to the centre in person. Am a Cameroonian and reside in Cameroon too..

The next step is to get all the documents you need and book appointment with the Vfs. Be sure to know which VfS office Cameroonians visit before booking appointment cuz most African countries come to Nigeria for this. Watch this video all the help you need is there.

Yes, Neco is accepted. Yes there is so many Universities that offer English programs

@@haywhydebug1010 University of applied science(more than 10 different universities) come together to conduct entrance examination nd if you happen to pass the exam you have a chance to be admitted in one of the universities. Other universities also conduct entrance exams nd interviews. This information is for both Bachelor’s nd master’s degree

@@haywhydebug1010 actually each study program could in principle have their own entry requirements choosing their students. Just look what each study program has made public about their requirements and don't assume them to be everywhere the same.

No you feel the form to create an account atleast but you must not fill all, then book an appointment at a date suitable which you’ll be done with all your documents then complete the things needed at the form and submit

Book an appointment with vfs to get a slot atleast. If you are filling the form on EnterFinland you should try and submit it before your interview day.

@@baffourjah4319 You can apply online, so it doesn't matter where you are at the time of entering application for a residence permit. But as a base rule, you can not get residence permit delivered to Finland. You need to leave the country as per the conditions of your visa.

You will show them both ur sponsor’s account statement and yours. And yes, One year is enough.
