I think we all know about Finn’s attacking qualities but what about his defensive work - tackling then offloads from taking high balls. I know there are a few detractors but I feel he’s a team player; those round about know he’ll put his body on the line and tackles are invariably low and using both arms. Really enjoying watching Bath this season.

If only his team mates were as sharp thinking as him all the time . We got a bit off Finn back in this game . Respect to Russell . He is brilliant . Well done to Bath forwards for giving him the platform to release those around him . Enjoyable rugby .

I watched a great documentary about the qualities of the great David Campese last night. Finn's spirit reminds me of Campo's vibe- not shy to try things out even though they might not come off....not that commonplace in rugby. He's such a bold and creative player, at the very peak of his powers.

Scotland don't use him lie Bath do or Racing. Gregor insists on having Sione at first receiver all the time with Finn in behind. Thats fine but they could mix it up a bit. We hardly see him flat to the line whilst in motion due to this.

I disagree. I thought he had Italy and Ireland under control for most of the first half of both games. Once the other sides kept the ball he obviously didn't have much influence.

He was ok in both games, you are forgetting Scotland as a whole were fkn woeful against Italy and we were rather poor against Ireland also especially the 2nd half, people like you try and blame finn for these games like their wasn't an entire team out there shitting the bed.
