Rusty Dog i think you missed the point here, It was in reference to the onslought both Billie and Greta paddle through, it basically is talking about someone going SO hard, at a 16 or 17 year old, that see no problem with that- Thats what makes it unvalid- and the commenter was not referring to their Boomer, fans, simply because thats- contextually- not what we are talking about. But you must also see who is coming at them swinging, (and the whole Boomer thing on the internett, started as at those people, and i get its a whole generation- and that its annoying when you feel it does not fit you or your unvalidated for simply being part of a generation- because we are to, and thats what we desl with every day. BUT its really not aimed at you, and it wasnt until that «crowd» felt what they were doing that stuff like «thats not fair» or «thats age’ist, you cant say my opinion does not count because of my age» that we were like DUH, but thats the exact same thing we’ve heard from scratch (so basically if you get to disqualify age ranges, so do we, now there’s the same rules for everybody), but heck yeah it sucks to get stuck in the crossfire. Imagine how Billie and Greta feel, they are not just on the front lines, but in the crosshaires of institutions such as THE church or leaders of entire countries- and prodominantly the age range we’re talking there are boomers. But theres also the what happened to the rules about sexualizing or adults ganging up on kids? So those were the opinions we are disqualifying, ergo why you dont fit that bill and why i think you missunderstood this comment and quote.) they really are not subtle about it🤷‍♀️💁‍♀️ Hope this helps clear things up😄✌️

It's really interesting that you asked him the distinction between luck and good fortune. I would love to hear a conversation about the distinction between luck and privilege, specifically between two white men. I think the hard work is inherent, but the acknowledgement of privilege is hardly discussed or realized by a lot of people. I think it's a really important conversation to have, particularly amongst artists who have a platform and can discuss how they consciously use their privilege to uplift other individuals who have not receive the same privileges.
