The fact that you mentioned the LR end of summer bash ("low rollers show in Delaware") blew my mind and warmed my heart. It was hands down one of the best shows in our area and I'm sad it's gone now. I've come to almost hate car shows, but LR eosb was definitely one to not miss.

Thanks Fin! I'm looking forward to see what happens with Faster with Cotton and Newbern. You were always a staple on that show but I am not going anywhere, I'll always be one of the first ones to watch it on Motortrend on demand. I understand that work/life ballance is everything and it's good that you are taking time for yourself and family. I'm looking forward to see what the future of Finnegan brings. Take care buddy!

The first time I met you was at the 2002 Truckin Nationals in Phoenix. I was 17. You were shooting for Mini Truckin, I had started following your work that year after I read your editorial about your "Bucket" C10. I asked you to autograph a copy of that very issue as it had just dropped on news stands. You thought it was funny that anyone would ever want your autograph but you signed the cover for me. I thought it was cool as hell and still have it stored away somewhere. Even way back then, you were an inspiration to me and I now build high end custom cars for a living. I've met you a few times since, as recent as PRI this last winter and I have been a long time fan, following your work since 2002. Thanks for continuing to inspire.

This is gonna sound weird, but you look like and sort of remind me of my dad, though I haven't heard from him in many years. Watching your videos is like having my dad back and having him actually teach me stuff about cars, (he wouldn't teach me shit and called me many things when I said i was going to college to be a mechanic, that's around when I lost him). Thanks for unknowingly doing all the dad things I didn't get to do with mine. Your videos mean more to me than you've ever intended. Thanks Mike. Really dude, thanks.

Glad you finally got my gift, Mike, @34:25 :) I thought it had gotten lost and so glad it didn't! Hope you liked Matt's signed T-Bird? Yea, my new Ranger isn't exactly a mini-truck, like the old days, but it's the closest I could get it to looking unique, even though it's about the same size as a stock 90's Silverado, LOL! I'll look up those pics of Blasphemi and if possible, could I ship it to you to get signed, unless you're able to get one for me? If not, a Fossil Fuels 2-3x shirt would suffice for now? Also, gonna miss seeing you on Faster with Cotten and Newbern! Thanks for all you do and love the content man!

On the subject of the German fruit cake, or Stollen: it has Marzipan in there. You cut it into thick slices and either put full cream butter on it, or scoop out the Marzipan and spread that on top. Biting off a corner is the worst way to try this. It is more a bread than a cake, baked around the Marzipan, so it is a little drier in general. Hence the butter or Marzipan on top.
