I've always been so curious about Finland cause I am my dad's exact copy and I don't feel like I belong here either. My family comes from Lappi, my great grandfather Urho was born in the Sauna of their log cabin (This being at the beginning of the 20th century when Finland was basically devoid of medical care), his mother dying shortly after and he himself being sent to The U.P (The disconnected part of Michigan, notable for its large Finnish population) at only a few months old with some other family, it's honestly a miracle that he kept his birth name given that children without their biological parents travelling to the states rarely keep their name intact. After which he would live with a rather unkind lady near Chatham, a lady who kicked two of her children out when they turned twelve.
