Hi Jana. Your knits are beautiful. Yes, I knit in public. I was knitting at the mall here in Raleigh, NC, sitting at numerous benches and knitting on my granddaughter’s blanket for her college, which I am almost finished knitting it. I enjoy when people watch me while I knit. Take Care. 😊

Hi Jana! My "color blindness" ended in my early 40s. That was so liberating!! Before that I only wore muted colors, mostly gray and black. Now I wear all kinds of colors and shapes regardless of any fashion dictates. People look, but if they say something, it's always positive, almost admiring comments, probably because they don’t dare to do it themselves (yet). Oh yes, and I love your videos, even if they're so short, your natural, warm-hearted manner and your projects!! Until next time, best wishes from southern Germany, your fan Sabine

In Denmark it is the same very very cold weather and sometimes rainy - I am 64 and have never experienced to wear knitted socks (thick) and boots and wintercoat in June. Thanks for sharing your will to wear the clothes you want. I do the same- because I feel good. But people here where I live are not always kind to me - so Ill be moving in two month.

My favourite knitting podcaster, sunday morning, knitting on a jumper for soon to arrive no 5 grandchild. It’s winter and raining. Bliss Also my motto is if my bloke hates my outfit it’s perfect. Took me a long time to stand up to the boring around me 😂 ❤

I'm in my early fifties and I rarely wear high heels anymore. I doubt I would be able to even walk in them, to be honest. It strikes me as a little crazy that I used to wear them to work every single day. So glad women's fashions have evolved.

Hi Jana, don’t’ mind about uneven knitting, after washing and blocking it will look grate. The weather seems to be interesting everywhere, I’m on free time in the Netherlands, very windy and stormy, but as long I have something to knit it’s OK. Have a nice weekend.

From my memories of my visit to Porvoo Iremember it is liquorice town! I hate the stuff but I know how popular it is in Finland. I remember the cobble streets and a scary wooden sledge that carried tourists over the town. It is the most beautiful place and I would love to return but alas I am housebound now.

Hi Jana, loving all of your beautiful pieces in the juicy colors of peaches and tangerines. Such a happy palette. Do you know of the Finnish orchestra conductor named Santtu-Matias Rouvali? Today I watched a KZbin video of him conducting the orchestra playing "Appalachian Spring" by American composer Aaron Copland. Wonderful interpretation of that symphonic piece. He's working in the United States now, but he spends a lot of the year back home in Finland on his farm.

Hi Jana! Your ring on your left index finger- is that a knitting ring? If it’s not it should be! Do you mind sharing where you got it, or how to find something similar? My finger gets irritated with the yarn pulling across it (usually mohair) and I have been hunting for a solution. Also heck yes, I love that you dress for yourself!
