Yeah. They seem miss matched and like chalk and cheese. But it works so well. When they were talking about Oli wanting to do this different weird stuff and Jordan was like nah that's not guna work. All I had in my head was The short clip where Oli wants to add elephant noises in teardrops. But it worked 😂😂

The fact Jordan doesn't think Sempiternal is anything other than "borrowing" from influences is just... so insane. That album is still the best Album I've heard in the past 10 years. It is THE metalcore album to me, and set the tone for the entire scene for a decade.

The person who for the most redefined the metal scene of today's era. His job in arrangements, incorporating pop structure and modern sounds has been monumental. If Falling in Reverse is cool now, is because 10 years ago we had Sempiternal and people have accepted new sounds in metal.

You know, I would actually like it if BMTH did a full orchestral album. Sempiternal and the Royal Albert Hall concert is as close as that gets. I think an orchestral album would be a very good way to break into another new area of music that frankly hasn't been done often.
@KingKrouch

The usage of symphonic instruments really gives that concert an entirely different vibe. Happy Song is one of the getaway examples, it’s strangely higher energy than the original. Symphonic metal is rarely done right, but I’d like to see their take on it.

I loved the Sempiternal album but I'd be bored if that's all they sounded like. Jordan is so modest. He sings too and sounds great. Can't believe Oli was totally tone deaf😮 does that mean the melodic parts in can you feel my heart( the sing that's very personal to me) was all electronically enhanced. Still he's done so well and worked really hard with his singing voice. Would love more guitar solos in their heavier songs though. That's really the only element that's missing. SS was amazing, even the edm covers. there is a hell is amazing, sempiternal is beyond amazing, tts is great but theres a couple songs i dont vibe with, same for amo (love mantra and S.h.i.t and wonderful life) post human was so good. i love that whatever music im in the mood for, my fav band has a song to quench that thirst. that is so rare to find a band that not only dont give a shit about what ppl want and just make their own art, but they dip into all the genres i like and its so cool.

I'd love a mad collab with Depeche mode. They always used weird shit for sounds in their music. Just really creative, and they went sown the rock scene a lil. Well U2 esk style. I think it would sound cool AF. I'd be so up for that and im sure DM would

wow it's amazing how Jordan is on point with his retrospective on the song choices for amo. Not sure why he's surprised about Sugar Honey Ice & Tea, it's a fking amazing song, definitely one of their top songs ever. It's an amazing album, I honestly think mother tongue is the only weak song on it (and medicine feels like a leftover from TTS) but I can imagine them making even better songs as he says. Man their storage of unreleased songs must be a goldmine, I LOVE their experimental stuff like on "Music to listen to" and "amo" too, I hope they dont hold back on those, eventhough I think Post Human is a masterpiece and want so much more of that.

So weird to think oli being tone deaf well beginning of his career was screaming ,but as i remember chelsea smile was scream singing and it was not bad ,yess the new song sound like falling in reverse and mcr and kpop combo, first pop in my mind was fashionably late era and refreshing that someone finally said it !! that whole being the trend or category is bull, not important music is music❤ i hope that bmth will exist as long as metallica ,i'll be the future old lady still going to the shows😂😅😅

It’s interesting to hear his brief perspective on that’s the spirit. That is probably my favorite album of all time. I can’t get enough of it even after all these years.

States how Dear Diary is basically a Slayer song BMTH style. Respect. Homeboy even sounds like Tom Araya off God Hates us all with that voice effect. Great song.

Fish and Sykes is one of the best tandem. They are like Paul and John. They help each other to be great! I just don’t get why they have to split up?

I've always thought of Oli Sykes as a similar lyricist to Morrissey where it's simple but good catchy lyrics.
