This song is more pop than the debut, so I think it was easier for people to digest. But for me there are no skips in Mamamoo's discography.

Yay, subscribing for the Mamamoo. Hope to see more reaction videos of them, especially ones showcasing their personalities. Maybe a double feature? Live performance to go with the MVs? I'd also suggest one of heir guide videos. I've seen a lot of Purple Hawke reactions, maybe one of their more recent guides as well? I brought my non kpop fan friend to the Mamamoo concert in NY and she left as one more MooMoo. Hopefully your friend will soon convert as well 😁

Hey thank you! Guides or other compilations aren't impossible. I've kind of wanted to first show most of the MVs so that Kay doesn't get spoiled by a guide. Purple Hawke is of course a classic but I will have to compare some guides when it's time, I probably haven't seen the newest ones.

Ok this was fun. The first time I watched I hadn't had my coffee, so I had to go and get some to try and wake up. I ended up watching four times just to figure out who was who. Hwasa nails her role, and Moonbyul is completely believable as a good looking man. Wheein's make up is so good, I don't even recognize her. I just love it when women whose job it is to be beautiful takes a risk like this. I really like that they can have fun with their looks.

Yeah, Wheein was absolutely hamming it. Though I think because she had so much stuff on it was kinda easier for her because she does not even resemble herself than Hwasa's milder alteration.

After watching it a few times for the comedy I had to ask why they went so overboard with the sexual harassment and outright attempted assault and then their subversive intent came into focus. Besides the drink drugging and sexual misbehavior why does Solar pursue Moonbyul by playing stereotypical hetero male porn characters (French maid, "coffee, tea or me?" stewardess, and hot to trot night nurse), why the cross dressing, why are the dance scenes set in a public men's room and a barber shop, and what's all this got to do with a song about a woman flipping the gender role script by taking the lead in initiating a relationship? Imo the answer is that they're satirizing male fantasies and misconduct. They flip the gender script by invading male bodies and male-only places and act just as badly as men do to show how ridiculous guys are when they think and act that way. And while they're turning everything upside down they ask the bonus question What if you thought you were straight but found yourself attracted to someone of the same gender?

It is very "flip it all upside down!". It's also very easy for the audience to see where Solar fails as french maids, nurses and servile flight attendants have much less effect on a woman. So we are in on the joke (at least one of them) right away. Thank you for watching!
